In my last post here on the site, I mentioned that with my new assistant, RC, I intended to spend more of my time focusing on product development, and business development. I am sure that some are wondering what kinds of products I intend to develop.
Well, let’s see if I can run down some of my thoughts on that.
Over the past few years, I have not had a lot of time to focus on developing new products. I also have several books that I intend to write. It has been three years since I wrote my last book, I have several that need to be updated, and three or four completely new books that are only written in my mind at this time.
I also have two or three courses that I intend to develop. Video courses that will be online on membership websites, and also for selling on Amazon. I have already experienced great success with similar products, I just intend to expand my horizons a bit, do these kinds of products in different niches, and improve on the products that I Artie have. I see no way that this would not be a success because everything I have done in this market so far has been very successful, I just needed more time to improve on these things.
Additionally, cutting back on some business things will play a key strategy in creating additional room for development. In other words, there will be some things that I will shut down or slow down drastically. Those are things that are not making enough money to justify the time that I must spend on them. Instead of spending that time on things that are unproductive, I will focus more time on the things that have paid off well for me.
Another thing that many people don’t think about when it comes to the development of ideas and products is to just simply take the time to think. Instead of doing busy work that takes your mind in different areas, just not doing anything but thinking can be a great key to success. Of course, in the end, after you have done a lot of thinking, you must also implement, but if you do not spend enough time thinking about it before you start the implementation, your product or idea is doomed to failure in my opinion.
I have several product lines that are super successful, and I have a lot of ideas on follow-up products that I can produce which would be natural sellers in conjunction with my successful items. I can even take many different products in the same line and combine them into a sort of all in package. I believe that this will also be very successful.
Having some free time to be able to do things like this is very valuable, and the only thing I don’t understand is why I did not do this earlier. It seems like a no-brainer.
I guess it all comes down to taking things that are successful in building on that success. Taking things that are not so successful and having the courage to either abandon those things or figure out how to make them successful.
Let me get back to doing some thinking now. Everybody have a great day.
